Thermotraffic opens automated cold store in Wrexham
Thermotraffic has added a new automated cold store to its Wrexham distribution centre, its first automated warehouse in the UK.
Operational from October, the expansion adds around 19,300 pallet spaces, taking the site to roughly 33,150 pallet spaces. A new production area also brings labelling, repacking, X-ray and metal detection, blast freezing and other value-added services onto the same site, helping customers cut unnecessary movements in their supply chains.
