Can you please tell us why you chose to exhibit at IntraLogisteX 2020.

Tennant is an ideal partner to many companies within the intralogistics industry and we are proven to deliver the best solutions to both new and existing customers within a range of sectors including distribution, warehousing, MHE, aggregates and logistics.

IntraLogisteX is a well-known and valued industry exhibition and we are thrilled to be taking part again.  The 2019 show was a huge success for us and we are looking forward to making the 2020 exhibition even better.

What will you be sharing with visitors at the exhibition?

We are looking forward to sharing a lot of new products and innovations with this years show visitors, in particular our new T17 battery powered ride-on scrubber with optional integrated vacuum wand and pressure washer.

Through the integrated vacuum wand, operators can easily clean hard-to-reach areas such as under racking within warehouses, cleaning areas larger machines normally can’t reach.

The T17 cleans effectively in just one pass, enhances air quality and improves the operators experience.  It features our unique ‘Touch-n-Go’™ control which allows operators quick access to settings without removing hands from the steering wheel, and the car-like pedals allow for an easy operation.

What do you feel are the biggest challenges facing the industry at the moment?

For a lot of businesses in the UK, and not just within the intralogistics and cleaning industry, there is still a lot of uncertainty surrounding Brexit.

To ensure continual supply, we began a programme in 2018 designed to optimise the safety stock of product held in our UK warehouses in order to offset any potential delays in lead time from any possible new import and customs checks.

We also reviewed Minimum Order Quantities to ensure we could consolidate imports and keep the cost impact on our customers to a minimum.
