Donato Masi is a Professor of Supply Chain Management at the UK Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) Centre, a research institute established in 2024 by Loughborough University in partnership with the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics. His work sits at the intersection of supply chain management and technology, with a strong emphasis on turning advanced research into practical solutions for organisations operating in complex, high-pressure environments. Donato has led and contributed to multiple Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) and industry-funded projects, working side by side with companies to design and implement digital, data-driven, and AI-enabled approaches to operations and supply chain decision-making.
